It has been quite some time since I've posted here. Those of you who keep up with me on other social media platforms know I have been working very hard on several different projects. Between exploring The Axis Project, running my Jamberry Nails business, and officially becoming a Merchandise Manager (MM) with Chloe + Isabel, plus family responsibilities and my "day job," it's been hard to post as much as I'd like.
As a CandI MM, I am in the process of getting a team of at least FIFTY Merchandisers! My responsibilities are to inspire, motivate, and challenge them to achieve their individual goals. Every one of you who reads my posts has had a hand in helping me achieve this level of success in my business and I'm so grateful. I went back and forth on names for my team and finally chose #candiconquerors. Check out my Facebook post from a few days ago to read about the inspiration behind the name.
On another note, I want to share an exciting opportunity to support a great cause! Some of you know that my CandI business is not my only job. I am also the Program Coordinator for KEEN (Kids Enjoy Exercise Now) New York. We are a national, not-for-profit, volunteer based organization. We provide FREE fitness, sports, and recreation activities for DiversAble youth (ages 5-21). Every young person who attends our programs is paired up with a volunteer coach, who's responsibility is to ensure that the Athlete is engaged, safe, and having fun! The KEEN experience is unique in that no child is rejected from our program due to their Diverse Ability. We work with all abilities, from Autism to Cerebral Palsey, and Down Syndrome. Many of our families are so confident in our care for their young ones that they use the program time to run errands or just get some well deserved respite.
I, along with members of my church, LifeHouse Church, are organizing a fundraiser event called KEEN for Coffee! This event will allow you to interact with some of the families and volunteers I have the pleasure of working with, as well as learn more about this amazing organization. There will be food, snacks, music by DJ Ariel, and of course coffee! As this is a fundraiser, there will be donation boxes at the event. I will have a CandI display table and Jamberry Nail designs available. I will be donating all of my CandI commission from orders that night and Jamberry will donate 10% of total sales to KEEN. 80% of all donations will go directly to the KEEN New York Affiliate!
